On our first married Valentine's Day I got Josh some balloons and a card. I made sure the card said "to my husband." I left for work early (4:30am), so I could decorate his car in the dark. I had bought a cheap variety pack of lipstick for little girls to write a love message with hearts, xs and os. Josh had to drive around with mushy gushy stuff on his car until he found time to wash it. He gave me a cute card the said "to my wife," and a little crystal heart snowglobe he picked up secretly in Austria.

We finally got to the beach again this summer. The same crew went plus Olivia and Ed. I don't know what the weather was like in San Jose, but it was HOT on the beach. I actually got in the water.

Mom and I tested our will power to not spend every dime at the Santa Clara Scrapbook Convention. I spent less then a 100 dollars. Then I spent over a 100 dollars at the fabulous Hawgs restaurant.
