Budweiser Frog Cups
Wow, haven’t seen these guys in ages! Came across these cups in a thrift shop in Angel’s Camp, California.
In case you are unfamiliar, these frogs are the stars in one of the most famous Super Bowl ads of all time, hailing back to 1995.
Fun fact: the commercial was directed by Gore Verbinski, who also did the first three Pirates of the Carribean movies.
Of course, that’s not the first major motion picture director to put together a great (or at least famous) commercial; we can go back to the first “big” Super Bowl commercial for the Apple Macintosh which was directed by Ridley Scott of Alien fame:

Any rate, unfortuntately, the cups did not come home with me; I feel I will regret that decision for some time. (edit, 2025: I still regret this)
